Court Ordered Anger Management Classes in Gwinnett County

Court approved classes for Gwinnett cases, in person in Marietta or online by telehealth so you can skip the drive.

If a Gwinnett County court, Recorder's Court, or probation officer ordered you to anger management, Cobb Anger Management Company is a nationally certified, court approved provider across the top end of I-285 in Marietta. Evaluations, private 1-on-1 sessions, and the 8 hour Saturday class, with telehealth available for cases that allow it.

Gwinnett orders mostly come out of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville, where Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, and Juvenile Court all sit, or from Recorder's Court on Stone Mountain Street, which handles the county's traffic and ordinance cases. The city courts in Duluth, Norcross, Snellville, Suwanee, Buford, and Lilburn send us clients too. The order usually says one of two things: complete an anger evaluation, or complete a set number of anger management hours by a deadline.

Gwinnett is the longest regular drive to our office, 35 minutes from Peachtree Corners on a good day and closer to an hour from Buford or Snellville in traffic. That is why most Gwinnett clients do the Saturday class in person once and handle evaluations and 1-on-1 sessions by telehealth where their case allows it.

Anybody can become angry, that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose, and in the right way, that is not easy.

Questions we hear from Gwinnett County

Will a Gwinnett County court accept your certificate?

Yes. We are a nationally certified anger management provider and Gwinnett State Court, Superior Court, Recorder's Court, and the city courts have accepted our completion documents for over ten years. If your order lists specific requirements, call us before you book and we will confirm the format matches.

Marietta is a long drive from Gwinnett. What are my options?

Evaluations and 1-on-1 sessions are available by telehealth for cases that allow it, so most of your hours can happen from home. The 8 hour Saturday class is in person at our Marietta office, and many Gwinnett clients make that one trip, finish 8 hours in a day, and do the rest by video.

My probation is through Southeast Corrections. Does that change anything?

Only the paperwork expectations. Private probation providers want to see the hours and the format spelled out, which our completion package does. Bring your conditions when you call and we will make sure the schedule matches what they require before you pay a deposit.

I got a Recorder's Court ticket with an anger management condition. Do you handle that?

Yes. Recorder's Court orders are usually short, 8 or 12 hours, and the Saturday class or a block of 1-on-1 sessions covers them. Check whether your order allows online sessions, then book or call.
