Life Coaching

What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching, sometimes called Personal Coaching or just simply Coaching, is a one- on -one, collaborative process to where a trained professional (the coach) helps you, the client, achieve your personal life goals.

The goals may vary from; better relationships, more self confidence, career change, financial responsibility and many more. People from all age ranges, occupations, and all walks of life get coaching. They all have the same mission in common; a desire to achieve something more in their personal or professional life. Whatever your goals may be, a professional coach is there to give you motivation, support and accountability, keeping you focused and taking action from week to week.

A Life Coach can help you change/ improve your life, however you still need to take responsibility for the changes you want to make. They can not do the work for you.

A Common misunderstanding is that coaching is the same as Therapy, when in fact they are very different. Therapy is intended to help people recover from emotional or other psychological disorders like depression or anxiety. Coaching on the other hand, is intended to help normal, emotional healthy individuals achieve personal goals.
