Court Ordered Anger Management Classes in DeKalb County
Court approved classes for DeKalb and Decatur cases, in person in Marietta or online by telehealth.
Ordered to anger management by a DeKalb County court or the DeKalb probation department? Cobb Anger Management Company is a nationally certified, court approved provider across the top end of I-285 in Marietta. Evaluations, private 1-on-1 sessions, and the 8 hour Saturday class, with telehealth available for cases that allow it.
DeKalb orders come out of the courthouse on North McDonough Street in Decatur, where Superior Court, State Court Division A, Magistrate, Probate, and Juvenile Court sit, and from State Court Division B on Camp Circle. The city courts in Decatur, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, Tucker, Stone Mountain, Clarkston, Lithonia, and Stonecrest send us clients too. The order usually says one of two things: complete an anger evaluation, or complete a set number of hours by a deadline.
DeKalb is one county, but the drive to us is very different depending on where you are. Dunwoody and Brookhaven are 20 minutes across the top of the Perimeter. Decatur is closer to 35. Stone Mountain and Lithonia can be 50 in traffic, which is where telehealth sessions earn their keep for cases that allow them.

Felony probation runs through the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.

Questions we hear from DeKalb County
Will a DeKalb County court accept your certificate?
Yes. We are a nationally certified anger management provider and DeKalb State Court, Superior Court, and the city municipal courts have accepted our completion documents for over ten years. If your order lists specific requirements, call us before you book and we will confirm the format matches.
My probation officer is with the DeKalb State Court Probation Department. What do they need?
The standard package: a letter of completion, progress report, attendance record, and certificate, all signed. Officers sometimes also want to see hours broken out by date, which our attendance record does. If your conditions ask for anything beyond that, tell us when you call.
Can I do my DeKalb hours by telehealth?
Often. Evaluations and 1-on-1 sessions are available by telehealth for cases that allow it. Some DeKalb orders specify in-person attendance, so check your order or ask your officer first. The Saturday class is in person only at our Marietta office.
How fast can I finish before a DeKalb court date?
The 8 hour Saturday class covers 8 hours in one day and can be stacked for larger orders. 1-on-1 sessions can be booked in 4, 8, or 16 hour blocks on weekdays, in person or by video. Tell us your deadline and we will build the schedule around it.
Do not let a deadline turn into a warrant
If your date is close, call before you book so we can look at the calendar together and find the fastest option your court will accept.
