David Maynard (CAMF)
David Maynard is a Certified Anger Management Facilitator. He is currently utilizing the Anderson & Anderson curriculum to teach individuals in the Atlanta area different ways of dealing with anger and stress. From his ten year background in sales, he is no stranger to highly stressful and high tension situations and environments. David has managed and trained hundreds of executive sales consultants in the field which he was able to generate positive results not just in sales but also by changing the culture of negative environments around him by bringing positive and motivational energy.
After finding success in the sales field David wanted to do more on a personal level. In 2012 he relocated from New York City to Atlanta and became involved with a local Non profit organization who's primary focus was to help feed families in the under privileged areas of Atlanta, providing over three hundred meals a month. By working closely with the community he began to realize there were more issues than hunger that was in need of concentration.
In 2013 David began working with a local anger management company in the metro Atlanta area where their areas of focus is in Anger Management, Stress Management, Communication, and Emotional Intelligence. Working along side the Facilitators gave him a more clear vision in which way he wanted his career path to segue, understanding the difficult challenges people faced day to day. In 2014 David became a CAMF (Certified Anger Management Facilitator) with the decision that he wanted to pro- actively help individuals conquer their battle with anger, helping people understand there is a healthy way to deal with anger in ways it doesn't have to consume you. He believes with the right tools and coping strategies the behaviors of anger can be unlearned which could ultimately lead to a more prominent and productive life.
Kabian Brown (LCSW)
Clinical Director/ Assessor
Kabian Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Bronx, New York who has provided social work/mental health services for over 15 Years. Mr. Brown started as a caseworker, in foster care, until eventually becoming a counselor at Rikers Island. He serviced individuals who were in solitary confinement, meaning they were locked up for 23 hours of the day with 1 hour of "free" time. This was a life-changing experience for Mr. Brown he then went on to provide child and youth services for the US Army Reserves. Mr. Brown continued to notice the ongoing mental health needs for Service Members and their families especially the youth.
In 2014, Mr. Brown relocated to Atlanta and wanted to impact lives through mental health services. Mr. Brown specializes in working with the youth as he believes that providing tools for success at an early age encourages positive development. Although he specializes in youth counseling, Mr. Brown is no stranger to working with other populations to include substance abusers, DFCS/DJJ, adults, elderly, groups, couples and family, etc.
Through a humanistic therapeutic approach, alongside narrative and cognitive behavioral approaches, Mr. Brown is able to impact those he works with and he continues to excel through continued education in order to provide the best clinical services possible. Currently, Mr. Brown aiming to specialize in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) so that he can become eventually pass the DBT-Linehan board of certification (DBT/LBC) exam.
Denise Cagle (LCSW, CAADC)
Supervisor/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Denise Cagle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor( CAADC). She is an LCSW with extensive psychological, management, and administrative experience.
Denise earned her (BA) in Psychology from Akron University in Ohio, and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) at The Ohio State University. Denise has extensive work experience in various clinical settings such as Medical Social Work, Individual & Group Therapy, Psychosocial Educational Groups, Domestic Violence and Community Case Management Services. She has over 20yrs of Social Work experience, and currently works with the (SMI) Severely Mentally Ill Population of Veterans.
Highly experienced in leading volunteer services, committees, meetings with affiliated veteran service organizations, civic groups, and local community organizations. Skilled in managing administrative and personnel functions of staff and team members. Knowledgeable of the current Joint Commission standards, state licensure standards, as well as working with patients with poly-trauma injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, visual impairment, post-traumatic stress disorder, addictions, and other serious disorders. Competency in ensuring staff are fully trained and are fully compliant with the provisions of all safety regulations. Independently conduct psychosocial SUD/MH assessments. Proficiency in performing case finding functions and outreach, identifying and screening patients for psychosocial, substance use disorder and mental health (SUD/MH) treatment needs. She is committed to mental and health and the well-being of her clients
Jade Richard joined Cobb Anger Management Company in 2014 to provide administrative support, working alongside the director to coordinate strategy development and implementation. Previously Jade Richard had a long relationship with Nova Vista Capitol Advisers working on the team performing diverse functions such as administrative services and human resource management for companies handling international experts and imports. She also worked for fortune 500 Company Such as Home Depot and Honeywell in advanced HR positions building her vast knowledge of administrative work as well as developing a strong understanding for company growth through networking.
